Many non-vegans act as if they have some moral superiority to vegans because they cause the suffering and deaths of animals. It is a bizarre form of cognitive dissonance where they cannot admit to the moral bankruptcy that rules the hearts and minds of those who are apathetic to the plight of animals or their fellow humans.
